Last year, the Space Needle flew a gay pride flag. I thought it was pretty awesome to see a gay pride flag atop a very visible part of the city. Gave me goosebumps and all that jazz.

Just recently, the Space Needle announced it would not fly it this year. Gay rights groups were upset and a petition was circulated.

Since we're in the month typically designated for gay pride (even acknowledged by President Obama), I thought it would be a cool idea to post cool pictures of rainbow flags flying, or if they're flying in interesting locations or landmarks. I typed in "Seattle pride" and I saw it. I also tried "gay pride" and just plain "gay."

This is the first time I noticed this. Have any of you seen this? Thought it was pretty cool. :-)

PS: I tried finding an interwebz and pride tag, but couldn't find one. :-\
